Tournament Details

Four man team scrambles for all rounds. Two tournament rounds will be played on Friday with the Championship round on Saturday.

First Round (Points): 4-3-2-1-0

• Points are distributed by order of finish; if teams tie, total points for those places are combined and then split evenly.
• For example, if two teams tie for first, points for first and second are added together, then divided evenly between those two teams.
• Second Round (Points): 5-4-3-2-0
• Third Round (Points): 8-6-4-2-0

Optional Scoring/ side betting

Scoring will be based on the Stableford format for all rounds. Stableford is scored per hole with points awarded based on the score to par. 

+2 = 0 points

+1 = 1 point

E = 2 points

-1 = 3 points

-2 = 4 points

The highest team total after all three rounds plus options for hole skins. 

• Strokes for Qualifying Round #1:
  • This year, we have two teams of 3 participating. The teams of 3 will only have 3 shots (no rotating shooter). Therefore, strokes have been negotiated and reflect the significant disadvantage the teams of 3 will have. 
  • Team #1 (WB): 0
  • Team #2 (TM): 2
  • Team #3 (RC): 4
  • Team #4 (AC): 7
  • Team #5 (JJ): 10
  • Strokes are evaluated after each round by the "Committee of One" (me)

The winners of the Pocket Sand cup will be in charge of the following year’s champions dinner on Saturday night, Masters style.
